Uruapani is a purepecha voice that meaning

"The place where everything blooms"

with this idea in mind we started to work in to develop of a project with high social content and strong sustainability capacity.

Uruapani.org is a project focused in support to artisans in Mexico principally in trade, marketing and promotion of their products.

We decide start this project in the Michoacan State because the wealth that having the artistic spectrum of craft production in this state of the republic, is extremelly broad. This spectrum include pottery, textile work, metallurgy, wood craft and others works.

Currently our main trading chanel is the web through virtual store Uruapani.com we are working at develop others distribution chanels.

We are currently operating Uruapani.com that is a virtual store of handicraft, focused on selling, marketing and promotion of Mexican handicrafts, mainly the work of artisans of the Michoacan State. We promote fair trade and we support directly to the artisans in marketing their products.
